Antivirus and real-time protection

TotalHeal checks files as they are downloaded, written and opened, and scans your computer on a schedule you choose. It tells you plainly what it found and what it did about it.

What it does

  • Real-time file shield
New and changed files are checked against signed TotalHeal definitions before they can do harm.
  • Several engines, one verdict
Known-bad file fingerprints, malware rules and heuristics on your device, plus cloud reputation for files it hasn’t seen before.
  • Smart, quick, full and custom scans
Smart Scan checks the places malware actually hides in a few minutes. Full Scan covers every file.
  • Quarantine you can trust
Threats are moved to an encrypted quarantine. You can restore anything, or delete it for good.
  • Signed automatic updates
Definitions update in the background and are verified with a pinned signing key before they are used.

Questions

Does TotalHeal slow my computer down?
It is built in Rust and checks files incrementally, so day-to-day work stays smooth. Full scans run at low priority and can be scheduled for when you are away.
Can I run TotalHeal alongside another antivirus?
You can, but two real-time scanners can slow each other down. We recommend keeping one real-time scanner switched on.
