Install TotalHeal

Download, install and run your first scan on macOS, Windows or Linux.

Before you start

Check the system requirements. If another antivirus is running real-time protection, consider turning its real-time scanning off — two real-time scanners slow each other down.

macOS

  1. Download the .dmg for Apple Silicon or Intel from the download page.
  2. Open it and drag TotalHeal into Applications.
  3. Open TotalHeal from Applications. Setup walks you through the permissions it needs (for example Full Disk Access, so it can scan everything) and explains each one.

Windows

  1. Download the .msi (or setup .exe) installer.
  2. Run it and follow the steps. Windows may ask for administrator permission — this lets TotalHeal protect the whole computer.

Linux

  1. Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt install ./totalheal_*.deb
  2. Other distributions: make the .AppImage executable (chmod +x) and run it.

First run

TotalHeal starts your 30-day trial automatically — no card or account needed — and offers a quick first scan. You can sign in later to add the device to your account. After 30 days, protection pauses until you subscribe or activate a product key; your quarantined files always stay accessible.
